Pilates is a full body integrated Fitness concept that was created in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. He originally called his training concept “Contrology”.
The goal is to work in synergy with your body and mind. The main focus though lies on the strengthening of the deep torso muscles- your Core. Your core muscles are responsible for your posture, your stability and your body awareness.
Pilates uses correct alignment, centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing, and flowing movement (the Pilates principles) to establish a perfect working body from the inside out.
BASI® Pilates is staying true to the originally created concept and at the same time adapts it to the latest scientific knowledge.

Pilates is good for anybody – no matter if you just want to improve your fitness, strength and mobility or if you suffer from pains and injuries or have postural problems.
More and more often Pilates is used in Rehabilitation as well, due to the balanced combination of flexibility and strength achieved. But the truth is, any person that spends too much time sitting at a desk will benefit from Pilates
Using the Pilates machines allows me to tailor a training program for you. Therefore even training in small groups (with 2-3 participants) is still individually designed for each and every client, no matter your age or fitness level.
All Pilates sessions are held at the ‚inBewegung' – studio’ in Anif (Salzburg South). With plenty of parking, the light & modern facility feels friendly and welcoming.
